Cracow is a popular city break destination all year round for visitors from all around the world. Many come for short breaks to indulge in the attractively priced food and drink, others to explore this well-reserved medieval historic city and encounter the Cracovians to whom this city is known as Kraków.
There are many fascinating places to visit in Cracow itself although one of it's treasures lies about 20 minutes south east of the city and is worth making the effort to get to: the Wieliczka Salt Mines.
