Climbing Maciejowa HIll in Rabka-Zdroj is one of many walks in this area.
The path to Maciejowa Hill starts directly behind the house. It's a slow climb upwards with level sections in between to help you get your breath back. It's a walk for all abilities - children regularly climb the hill without any problems. Older, less fit people may find the final climb to the top and little more taxing but well worth the effort. The views are simply fantastic, the grass verges and meadows are filled with wild flowers (photographs taken in early July).

Depending on the time of year, you could see grass being gathered down by hand and assembled into small stooks. Horses help with the cutting.
