Holiday rental with shops nearby

There are plenty of shops in Rabka Zdroj, a large selection of food shops and supermarkets.

The shop on the left is the nearest general store to the holiday house in Rabka Zdrój. It's just a couple of streets away, within walking distance, and stocks a good range of groceries, drinks, newspapers and magazines and fresh produce. Service is old-fashioned style where you wait behind a counter and ask or in the case of many foreign tourists, point. We have found the staff very helpful.

A large supermarket which also has a butcher's counter is a little further down the same road.

Partly because the park occupies the centre of town, there are several distributed shopping areas, supermarkets and specialist shops in different parts of the town.

Tourist centre

There is a tourist information centre (behind the Elephant fountain and coffee shop) with details of organised bus trips, barbecues. You can purchase maps, walking guides and information booklets here and in the bookshop and kiosks.

The food is sometimes packaged differently

Fresh milkis sometimes packaged in plastic bags or paper cartons. It's called Mleko and is sold in a range of fat content.

You generally have to self-weigh fruit and vegetables then stick a price label on in supermarkets before you go to the checkout.

There are several bakeries for bread, cakes and hand-made biscuits. .

Foods to bring on holiday

You will be able to purchase many of the same food items that you get at home except that they will be different brands and sometimes slightly different, such as porridge oats.
