A colourful time in Poland
Book a holiday rental for holidays in September or October.
The holiday rental is situated 1 hour's drive south of Cracow, in between Cracow and Zakopane, in a small popular village with its own ski slopes, several restaurants, shops and pubs.
The views in September and October are enhanced by the leaves on the trees turning red and the fruits of autumn on sale. Colourful gourds such as the ones shown in the basket below can be bought to decorate houses or adorn flower arrangements.
It's a good location if you wish to explore the south of Poland, visit Cracow, Zakopane, the salt mines, Auschwitz, the Dunajec river and the Tatras. There's a railway station, bus station and taxis locally but a rental car is highly recommended. You can even take a steam train to Nowy Targ at weekends. The holiday rental provides a good accommodation for a group of people or family of up to 10 - return to your own 'home from home' in the evenings. Enjoy barbecues, grill sausages on an open log fire, toast marshmallows and crumpets , play games and music in private surroundings.
Most places of interest to visit in this area are under an hour's drive away and you get to admire the stunning scenery en-route.
