Autumn is the best time to visit Rabka-Zdroj
Autumn is magnificent in Rabka-Zdroj, the colours of the trees are stunning. There is plenty of mixed woodland in the Health Park and surrounding hills.
A carpet of autumn leaves cruches with every step.
It's a great time of year for walkers, cool and comfortable, although the nights are now drawing in earlier. It gets dark by about 7 pm.
Walks of various distances are displayed on a board in the centre of the park. All lead up into the hills around the town.
The hills of the Babiogorski National Park to the west of the town are clearly visible.
The statue of Pope John Paul II in the park gathers a collection of warmly glowing candles. All Saints or All Hallows is celebrated on the 1st of November when families remember those now passed on with similar candles and flowers.

There is a street in just about every town in Poland named after Pope John Paul II.
